Chatting with Diego, I remembered how happy I am with Webfaction and unhappy with Dreamhost.

Εμένα μου φέρνει προς ύποπτο το πολύ μεγάλο uptime. Kernel security patches δεν κάνουν; Στο hostgator που έχω τα sites μου κάνουν συχνά πυκνά upgrades και ειδικά οταν βγαίνουν zero-day exploits…
Βαγγέλη, ρίξε μια ματιά στο ksplice για το πώς μπορεί να εφαρμοστεί ένα kernel patch χωρίς επανεκκίνηση. Δεν ξέρω όμως κατά πόσο χρησιμοποιείται από τη Webfaction.
FWIW, χρησιμοποιούν αρκετά stable πυρήνα:
