Here is a small fact sheet about me, in case you are interested.
- The name is Dimitris Glezos, nicknamed mitsman or subbie and shortened as “Dim” or “Jim”.
- The face is somewhat like the photo on the right, taken in March 2005. Sometimes the beard is longer and the hair messier.
- One major passion of mine is rock climbing. You can see some rock climbing pictures at the photos section.
- I play the Euphonium every now and then.
- I currently pursue a PhD at the University of Manchester.
Computers
- I am into Open Source software a lot: I’m an active contributor, among others, to the Fedora and GNOME projects and have served as president of the Cyprus Linux Users Group.
- I’m interested in digital rights a lot and in the past became an activist through FFII against the software patents directive.
