I&#039;ve been using Fedora as a Desktop since version 5. There are several qualities in this distribution that makes it stand out of similar ones: It is only free software, you can extend it any way you like, and there are no artificial barriers designed to &#039;protect&#039; less advanced users but getting in my way. 

I still like apt-get better than yum, although the latter has vastly  improved in the latest releases. I was rather disappointed with 9, as I was (as always) an early adopter and faced many problems. Running the preview of 10 however, I think it is the best Fedora release to date.  It also supports my Aspire One out of the box, networking, wireless, sound and camera included! I will soon test the final version in a couple of systems.

Once again, let me extend my sincere thanks to you and everyone in the project for devoting so much time and effort to build a release we will all enjoy.</description>
